DESIGNING YOUR HOME

Creating the perfect house plan should be a fun and exciting process for you. When designing your new home, Ron will take into consideration every aspect of your new home such as your building lot, your current and future needs and wish lists, your lifestyle, and your budget.

3D CAD MODELING

It can be difficult to visualize 3D space when viewing traditional floor plan drawings. Ron designs all homes with 3D modeling software that will give you a much better feel for the space, layout, and finishes of your new home.

Use of the latest 3D computer aided design tools helps you to visualize your new home floor plan and offers perspective views of the interior and exterior elements of the home design.

THE DESIGN PROCESS

  • PREPARATION
Be prepared to bring the survey or site plan of your lot, architectural requirements and CC&Rs for your lot, your "must have" and wish lists, and any photos of homes in the style you desire or even galleries on Pinterest or Houzz.
  • Initial Consultation
Meet with Ron and discuss your tastes, ideas, lifestyles, necessities, wish lists, and your building site to  determine your project scope and the budget for your project.
  • Preliminary Conceptual Design
Ron will prepare conceptual three dimensional floor plans and elevations based on the results of the Initial Consultation as a starting point to fine tune your home design. This phase continues until we have the perfect home design for you and your family
  • Final Design
Upon approval of the conceptual drawings, Ron will prepare the final floor plans and elevations for your home.  This step allows you to view and approve fully detailed CAD drawings including architectural details, and kitchen and bath layouts.
  • Contract Drawing Preparation
Once all floor plan and elevation details are approved, a complete set of contract drawings are prepared. These drawings will be used for obtaining bids from potential builders and acquiring the necessary building permits and for the construction of the home.
